The Feral Yamyam Bushcraft School
The feral yamyam bushcraft school is led by Dean who has practised bushcraft since the age of seven. His passion for bushcraft and survival grew after joining the army at the age of sixteen. Dean developed the knack of making himself very comfortable in whatever natural surroundings and situations he found himself in. This combined with continually practising skills until they became second nature, and with the encouragement of his beautiful wife and now business partner, Helen, finally took the step in 2014 to teach and share his knowledge. Since 2015, he has been running courses for people from all walks of life including specialist courses for vulnerable adults and disadvantaged youths. Dean says that since his first course “I have never looked back”. Finally, in January 2017, due to demand, Dean and Helen had enough work to become a full-time bushcraft school and set up the feral yamyam bushcraft school.
