  • About the location

The Bushcraft Show is located on the Chillington Hall estate, which is set in beautiful wooded Staffordshire countryside near the Shropshire border. The occupants of Chillington Hall, the Giffard family, have held the estate since the 12th century, and the parkland was landscaped by Capability Brown around 1760. The estate is enormous, totalling over 4000 acres, including vast amounts of woodland, rolling pastures and an enormous lake.

  • This very special venue is only open to the public occasionally, and visitors of The Bushcraft Show are in for an absolute treat! The main show ground will be the Rookery Paddock which is a large clearing in the woodland on the bank of the 70 acre lake. Surrounded by trees and water, you’ll be able to temporarily forget the stresses of the outside world and relax into a weekend of bushcraft.

  • The heady combination of activities, entertainment, demonstrations, guest speakers, have-a-go sessions, woodland and meadow camping with open fires (exclusive to The Bushcraft Show) will provide an adventure not to be missed and one not soon to be forgotten.

Whether you are arriving from the North, South, East or West, The Bushcraft Show enjoys a centrally located site, which is easily accessed via the motorway and railway network and by Birmingham International and East Midlands Airport.
