After university, Tim Little tried his hand at several different trades but after spending the last eleven years as a postman, just happened to fall into knife making and, as it turned out and much to his surprise, actually turned out to be good at it!
Ammonite knives came about after becoming retired due to ill health. Tim didn’t know what to do and after a friend suggested knife making, he took it up and is now happier than he’s been for years! Tim has always made things and it’s a bit of a passion to make things the way he sees them which allows individuality and versatility in his creations.
Why the ammonite? It’s Tim’s favourite fossil and one of the first ones he can remember ever seeing as a small child (his mum had one in the garden).
